Trinity Town Council                                         Public Hearing                                                                     April 1, 2025

 

The Town of Trinity Mayor and Council met for a Public Hearing in the Trinity Municipal Building with Mayor Vaughn Goodwin opening the hearing at 5:30 p.m.

 

Members present were Beth Burden, Mayor Vaughn Goodwin,  Jared Terry, and Gordon Burden.  Absent was Brandi

Logston and Lainie Alexander.

 

Resident Payl Broome of 411 North Seneca Drive was present.

 

Mayor Goodwin opened the hearing by stating “The purpose of this public hearing is to hear all those in favor of or against Ordinance 2025-03 Amending the Zoning Ordinance to increase minimum square footage in R-4”

 

No comments were made

 

Mayor Goodwin closed the hearing at 5:31 p.m.

Trinity Town Council                                         Special Call Minutes                                                          April 1, 2025

 

 

The Town of Trinity Mayor and Council met for a special call meeting in the Trinity Municipal Building with Mayor Vaughn Goodwin calling the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.

 

Members present were Beth Burden, Mayor Vaughn Goodwin, Jared Terry, and Gordon Burden.  Absent were

Brandi Logston and Lainie Alexander.

 

Members present signed the waiver of notice.

 

Motion made to approve the minutes of the Work Session March 24, 2025 by Beth with a 2nd by Gordon.  All voted yes.  Jared abstained.

 

Motion made to approve the minutes of the Council Meeting March 24, 2025 by Beth with a 2nd by Gordon.  All voted yes.  Jared abstained.

 

Motion made to approve the bills in the amount of $23,014.84 by Jared with a 2nd by Gordon.  All voted yes.

 

Motion made to take into immediate consideration Ordinance 2025-03 Amending the Zoning Ordinance to increase minimum square footage in R-4 by Jared with a 2nd by Gordon.  Voting yes were Beth, Mayor Goodwin, Jared, and Gordon.  Voting no were none.

 

Motion made to adopt Ordinance 2025-03 Amending the Zoning Ordinance to increase minimum square footage in R-4 by Gordon with a 2nd by Jared.  Voting yes were Beth, Mayor Goodwin, Jared, and Gordon.  Voting no were none.

 

Motion made to approve $23,700.00 to Quality Paving for paving on Sewell Rd, Seneca Springs Drive, and High Street by Jared with a 2nd by Beth.  All voted yes.

 

Motion made to approve $1973.44 to Kamstrup for yearly hosting and software by Beth with a 2nd by Jared .  All voted yes.

 

Council member Beth Burden stated that the entrance to Meadowview looks great after the paving was completed.  Council member Jared Terry informed the Council that the Park Board would be meeting Sunday, April 6th at 1:00 p.m. in the Trinity Municipal Building.
