The Town of Trinity Council met at a regularly scheduled meeting at the Trinity Municipal Building with Mayor Pro Tem, Brandi Logston, calling the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

 

Members present were Beth Burden, Brandi Logston, Jared Terry, and Gordon Burden.  Absent were Mayor Vaughn

Goodwin and Lainie Alexander.

 

Motion made to approve the minutes from the Work Session August 12, 2024 by Beth 2^nd by Gordon.  Voting yes were Brandi, Beth, and Gordon.  Jared abstained.

 

Motion made to approve the minutes from the Council Meeting August 12, 2024 by Beth 2^nd by Gordon.  Voting yes were Brandi, Beth, and Gordon.  Jared abstained.

 

Motion made to approve the attached bills in the amount of $34,060.14 by Jared with a 2^nd by Gordon.  All voted yes.

Motion made to promote Investigator Randall Parker to Assistant Chief with a $1.00 per hour raise by Beth with a 2^nd by Jared.  All voted yes.

Motion made to allow Chief Hughes to advertise for 1 patrol officer by Jared with a 2^nd by Gordon.  All voted yes.

Motion made to approve selling the 2013 Ford Explorer to the Town of Courtland for $1,000.00 by Jared with a 2^nd by Gordon.  All voted yes.

Motion made to approve $300.00 to Govt Portal for EMV Hardware Upgrade to bring Card Readers used in office to compliance by Gordon with a 2^nd by Jared.  All voted yes.

Motion made to approve $4,679.29 to ARDURRA for the first billing of the SCADA System Radio Replacement by Gordon with a 2^nd by Jared.  All voted yes.

Motion made to approve paying $12,831.19 to Holus Bolus Corp for Advance EMT Training invoice by Jared with a 2^nd by Beth.  All voted yes.

Motion made to table accepting the quote from Terry equipment for demolishing the structure at 106 North Mountain and wait to receive more quotes by Gordon with a 2^nd by Jared.

Motion made to table moving forward with the Morgan County tag kiosk by Beth with a 2^nd by Jared.  All voted yes.
