Public Hearing
The Town of Trinity Mayor and Council met for a Public Hearing in the Trinity Municipal Building with Mayor Vaughn Goodwin opening the hearing at 5:30 p.m.
Members present were Beth Burden, Brandi Logston, Mayor Vaughn Goodwin, and Gordon Burden. Absent were
Lainie Alexander and Jared Terry.
Mayor Vaughn Goodwin opened the hearing by stating: “The purpose of this hearing is to hear any of those wishing to speak on the matter of levying a special assessment against the property located at 106 North Mountain Drive. The final cost assessment report has been sent out with a total of $12,500 to the property owners as is required by the Ordinance”
There was no one present to speak at the public hearing.
With no comment, Mayor Goodwin closed the hearing at 5:31 p.m.

The Town of Trinity Mayor and Council met for their regularly scheduled meeting with Mayor Vaughn Goodwin calling the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.
Members present were Beth Burden, Brandi Logston, Mayor Vaughn Goodwin, and Gordon Burden. Absent were
Jared Terry and Lainie Alexander.
Motion made to approve the minutes from the work session the November 12, 2024 by Beth 2nd by Brandi. All voted yes. Gordon abstained.
Motion made to approve the minutes from the council meeting November 12, 2024 by Brandi 2nd by Beth. All voted yes. Gordon abstained.
Motion made to approve the attached bills in the amount of $30,140.07 by Gordon with a 2nd by Brandi. All voted yes.
Motion made to approve allowing Justin Dunn to roll 72 hours vacation to be deposited into his RSA-1 account by Brandi with a 2nd by Beth. All voted yes.
Motion made to approve $136,877.16 to Morrow Water Technologies, Inc for the Water System Improvement Project by Gordon with a 2nd by Brandi. All voted yes.
Motion made to approve $1,011.00 to GMC for Final Walk Through of the pickleball courts by Beth with a 2nd by Brandi. All voted yes.
Motion made to approve $2,000.00 to Stone Hedge Nursery for trees on the Tree Trail by Brandi with a 2nd by Gordon. All voted yes.
Motion made to adopt Resolution 2024-17 levying a special assessment against the property located at 106 North Mountain Drive by Brandi with a 2nd by Gordon. Voting yes were Beth, Brandi, Mayor Goodwin, and Gordon. Voting no were none.
Motion made to approve paying $1050.00 to the fire department to reimburse donations received at Town Hall for the fire department from Vulcan Materials ($1000.00) and Frank Howard ($50.00) by Gordon with a 2nd by Brandi. All voted yes.
Motion made to appropriate $2000.00 to West Morgan High School to help with travel expenses for the Football Team, Band, and Cheerleaders going to the Semi finals by Beth with a 2nd by Brandi. All voted yes.
Members present discussed a one-time pay adjustment for employees and asked Town Clerk, Ashley Patterson, to get some numbers together for the next meeting.

Motion made to adjourn by Gordon with a 2nd by Brandi at 5:39 p.m. All voted yes.
