Trinity Planning Commission                       Minutes                                                               January 22, 2024

 

The Trinity Planning Commission met at a regularly scheduled meeting January 22, 2024 at the Trinity Municipal Building with Mayor Vaughn Goodwin calling the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Members present were Council Member Gordon Burden, Mayor Vaughn Goodwin, Keith Alexander, Randy Dutton, Justin Dunn, and Phil McDonald.  Members absent were Susan Ledbetter, Inspector Gary Bayne, and Ken Johnson.

Motion made to adopt the minutes of the regular Trinity Planning Commission meeting October 23, 2023 as presented by Phil with a 2^nd by Randy.  All voted yes.

Motion made to approve or deny the certificate to subdivide and consolidate property owned by Paul and Charlotte Garen located beside 130 Mason Drive by Keith with a 2^nd by Justin.  All voted yes.

Mayor Goodwin informed the Commission that Roush Coleman Homes is looking into building a new subdivision with 500-600 homes in front of WMES with lots approximately 40 feet wide.  The first phase of the subdivision is looking to be on the Old 24 side of the property.

Motion made to adjourn by Randy with a 2^nd by Justin at 6:09 p.m..  All voted yes.
